Common questions

1. Where is my data stored?

   On this device. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is also stored in the private iCloud space of your own Apple Account. The developer cannot see any of it, and no sign-up is needed.

2. Will my data move to a new iPhone?

   Turn on iCloud sync in Settings, then sign in to the new iPhone with the same Apple Account and open the app. Your data is restored automatically. Without sync, data stays only on the original device and is deleted with the app.

3. I'm not getting reminders.

   Check that notifications are allowed under Settings → Notifications → Zairyu Techo on your iPhone. Reminders are scheduled on the device and need no connection.

4. What's the difference between Free and Pro?

   Deadline reminders, payment records, checklists and family members are free forever. Filling in residence application forms and storing more than 30 receipts need a one-time Pro purchase. There is no subscription.

5. Where do the deadlines and rules come from?

   They are compiled from official sources such as the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, with links to each source. Always follow the latest guidance from the office or official website.

6. Which devices are supported?

   iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
